Alone With God In 22 Steps – Marah Saruchera
The purpose of this book is to encourage women of all ages, race and faith to excel, to stand up and to shine. The book encourages a solid prayer life (a time alone with God) and hard work; it puts success in perspective. It is a statement of fact of life for most women, irrespective of where they live, or where they come from. The book attempts to “create a positive woman mentality”. It gives courage to our daughters and cements an “I can” attitude. It is the Author’s letter to a woman whose life is challenged by culture. It is a statement that says culture is not a constraint, you can be. It is how you see, how you think, how you hear, how you feel.
The narratives in this book highlight the foundational enabling of the Word of God. The Word of God is not gender sensitive – it is how you receive it. It is an acknowledgement of the fact that the one greater than Solomon, the author of Proverbs, is the woman’s source of wisdom. This is Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
The Author has made various presentations on the subjects of Proverbs 31:10-31 and the motivation to write this book is to ensure the insights touch many more women than a few platforms would. It is a record of what differentiates women – the achievers from those that also ran.
