The Lord Our Habitation - Marah Saruchera
This book is about the GRACE OF A MAGNIFICENT GOD. It is a narration of how God builds us, in time and space. How God builds us, in time and space. How God builds the total man, from the physical to the mental, the social and the spiritual.
The book is based on four texts in the Bible:
- 1 Chronicles 16:8 Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
- Jeremiah 31:4 Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built.
- Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
- Colossians 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught abounding therein with thanksgiving.
This book highlights the fact that
Everything we do, everything we are, everything we come across is grace coated. The challenge is, sometimes we fail to see where grace is, how the coating is given, and when the grace will be evident. We fail to see, to feel, to touch, to hear, and even to smell grace because it is often clad and camouflaged in and by adversity. We fail to be grateful for grace because life challenges drive and determine our focus. We fail to enjoy this grace because we are not in sync or synchronised with the one who gives grace, the Lord God Almighty, the Creator of the Universe, the Giver of Life - our habitation.
